How to use your iPhone as an SD card reader

Your iPhone can be used as an SD card reader with the help of a third-party app. This can be useful if you want to view the photos or videos on your SD card on your iPhone, or if you want to transfer files between your computer and your SD card. 3. Import photos and videos from your SD card


Most digital cameras nowadays use SD cards to store photos and videos. So, if you want to transfer your photos and videos from your camera to your iPhone, you’ll need to use an iPhone SD card reader.

There are a few different ways to do this. You can either use the Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader, or you can use a third-party SD card reader that connects to your iPhone’s Lightning port.

Once the import is complete, you’ll see your photos and videos in the “Camera Roll” album in the Photos app.
